Our boat tours are 6 people per boat and our boats are small enough to actually get you into the sea caves. The big boat tours in the Apostle Islands can be disappointing for some people because they don’t go into the caves and there are crowds of people with their cell phones out taking photos and videos. Small tours allow for a more intimate encounter with out having to deal with crowds of people. We have tandem kayaks for exploring the caves but they are only put in to use with the conditions are perfect. If you add kayaks to your order and we are unable to use them you will be refunded the $25 per person fee and we will make up for it by exploring something else i.e. secluded beaches, lighthouses, sea caves in other areas etc. Stockton Island, is home of the famous balancing rock sea stack. and is one of the largest islands in the Apostle Islands archipelago. Home to a myriad of wild and amazing plants and animals. This tour explores the sea caves and sea stacks of Stockton Island but also goes on land traverse trails watched over by old growth white pines and perhaps you’ll come across of patch of golden chanterelles. We will also get a chance to walk on the singing sands of Stockton Island and perhaps stumble across an agate or two. This tour definitely does the most exploring of land and water of any tour we offer.
