Romans Point Sea Caves Kayak Tour

This is an 8-mile round-trip paddle, that’s a long paddle, for most people this is too much.

Romans point sea caves are a hidden gem located in Herbster, Wi but it is a challenging paddle.  Roman’s Point has excellent caves and without the crowds that you’ll find at Meyers Beach.

We paddle in small of groups of 10 or less to best experience the serenity and solitude that these sea caves have to offer. You must know how to swim to participate on this tour.

Roman’s Point requires open water crossings, so it is not easy, but the scenery and the sandstone are amazing.  At Roman’s Point we are more likely to encounter waves and it is a longer paddle in colder waters.

You will need to be prepared for an 8 mile paddle, which takes about as much effort as walking 4 miles.  Tour age minimum is 12 and weight minimum is 100 lb, max weight is 275 lb.  We paddle the Bark Bay section of Roman’s point where there are some excellent sea caves without any crowds.  We allow you to enjoy yourself inside each cave for as long as you like and give you every opportunity to stop for photos, swimming, exploring etc.

You can expect about a 40% chance of weather cancellation for this tour and a 50% chance of wind and waves during your tour.
